back to events > This summer Waters Elementary School will host Abrakadoodle’s remarkable art program. Also being brought in as an afterschool program at Waters this Fall of 2006, Abrakadoodle’s program is both challenging and fun. Each lesson will introduce your child to a new artist or technique. Children will have the opportunity to work with real artist’s materials and tools. Abrakadoodle classes are sure to inspire your child’s creativity and ignite their imagination! CLASS OPTION ONE: KIDS AGES 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 YRS: Where: Waters Elementary School, 4540 N. Campbell When: Monday - Friday (choose days or whole weeks), July 10th through July 20th Who: Children 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 years old Time: 9:00AM—Noon Cost: $110 per week or $30.00 per day (includes materials) Scholarships available Registration Fee: $10.00 per child Each camper will receive an Abrakadoodle T-shirt & a backpack to design. Classes consist of a wide variety of themes including but not limited to: Castles and Dragons - a creative trip to medieval times Around the World - take a colorful trip to foreign places Time Machine - an exciting trip through the ages Do Your Chores - new twist on doing everyday activities Icky, Slimy, Gooey - all the textures kids love Paint Me a Story - combine books/art for imaginative fun REGISTER BY MAY 26TH TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT.
