back to events > Global Explorers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing children with the opportunity to explore the diverstiy of the world’s peoples, helping them to understand and respect different cultures. Join us at Waters School and let your child experience a Global Explorers FREE Introductory class. A full program allows children to explore different world cultures through folktales, music, dance, crafts, games, dramatic play, flags, mapmaking, celebrations, architecture and more. However, these introductory classes will focus primarily on folklore and music to present new cultures to our children. These 4 classes, set for the following Saturdays at Waters School, wil be geared toward children 2-1/2 to 6 years, but older children may attend. You can attend as many as you like. As there is a limited class size for these intros (20ish kids), please sign up for a FIRST-COME FIRST-SERVED spot in a class below or call Terri at 773-509-1656. Global Explorers is one possibility of an afterschool program at Waters in Fall 2006, covering age groups 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. We urge you to check it out.
