Both of the labs are vital parts of our
students experiential and integrated learning.
Computer Lab
At Waters, technology is used as a tool to support
the curriculum and promote engaged student
learning. Products such as databases,
spreadsheets, brochures, web pages and
multimedia presentations are used to integrate the
use of computers, scanners, digital photography
and video into all subject areas.
Media Lab
The Media is staffed by 7th and 8th graders who
are certified in the use of audio and video editing
computers, digital, still and video cameras, and
digital recording equipment.
These students produce documentation for the
SCALE 20th Century Learning Community Grant
After School Program. They are also on call to do
sound and video recording for the school
community.
The Media Lab is currently partnered with
VideoMachete, a youth media and educational
organization. |
