At the October 20 meeting, the Local School Council approved the allocation of the first part of the money raised by Waters Today last year. $25,000 was allocated to provide supplies directly to teachers during remote learning, including laptop computers, subscriptions, and other supplies. $10,000 was allocated as a donation to Circle of Help, which provides a wide range of support to students in need within the Waters community. $50,224 was allocated to pay half of an arts essentials teacher salary for the 2020-21 school year.
