Waters Pledge Drive
November 12-23, 2020

HELP WATERS GROW!
Waters Elementary depends on the generous support of its families and community members to help fund many programs, projects, and initiatives at the school and within our school community. All parents, guardians, teachers, and staff are considered members of WatersToday, but we your personal commitment and dedication is what ensures the success of Waters Elementary.

This year we have combined the Maker Fair and Pledge Drive Shopping Events to provide a "one stop shop" for all your holiday gifting needs! Check out the in-store events and visit WatersToday.market to support our local businesses and makers and help our school!

OUR PLEDGE DRIVE GOAL IS $85,000!
  • If each Waters family gave $250, we would meet our goal. Of course, if that amount isn’t possible, please give whatever you are able – every dollar counts!
  • Families that can continue to give at the $750 level will help us maintain our support at a time when many other families may not be able to donate.
  • Pledges of any size may be made in one payment or as a recurring monthly or quarterly donation.

Funds raised by WatersToday help support the following initiatives; We invite you to learn more about them:

ECOLOGY:
Did you know that WatersToday funds our Ecology program 100%? Your support ensures that this signature program continues to enrich the lives of Waters students. Learn more by visiting Watersecology.org.

CIRCLE OF HELP: This parent-run program aims to alleviate the stress of financial hardship on local students and their family members by offering assistance through community aid. As the needs are greater now than ever, we have committed to assisting Circle of Help in providing families with everything from groceries, diapers, and warm-weather clothing to school supplies, remote learning tools, and much-needed emotional support.

ESSENTIALS CLASSES: In addition to funding half of an arts position, WatersToday purchases enrichment materials for each of the Essentials Teachers, allowing them to develop their programs.

TEACHER WISH LISTS: Our wonderful teachers often have requests for supplies, activities, and experiences that the school budget cannot always cover. By helping to enrich their classrooms, we are also enriching the learning experience of our students. In past years, funds raised by Waters Today have provided items including digital and print subscriptions, classroom technology, and books for classroom libraries.  In this unique year, WatersToday funds have helped ensure teachers have what they need to make remote learning successful.

This has been a difficult year, but it is important to remember that we are a community, and we are in this together. We ask that you give only as much as you are able. All parents, guardians, teachers, and staff are considered members of Waters Today, but the personal commitment and dedication of those who can help is what ensures the success of our school and its students.
