Coffee & Wreath Fundraiser that benefits the 8th Grader's Spring 2020 Field Trip will end on October 30th! Coffee is from Passion House a local Chicago coffee roaster and Wreaths are from Browns Tree Farm in Michigan. Get your orders in before the deadline and invite your local friends and neighbors to participate as well. All orders can be picked up on 12/7/2019 at Waters Elementary from 10am-3pm during the Waters Makers Fair event.

And if you know someone that lives out of town or anyone not able to participate in the wreath & coffee sales but would still like to support the 8th graders, then please follow the online link where anyone can make a cash donation.  Thank you to all for supporting our efforts to ensure that all kids that want to go on the Spring 2020 Field trip can afford to go.

Thank you to all of our families, friends and community members for a record breaking Pledge Drive! Over 200 donors raised $107,000 for our school!   A few highlights:

- 17 local businesses participated in our "Give Back" events, giving parents and friends an opportunity to shop and dine local for a cause
- The Pledge Drive Kick Off party at Gideon Welles gave parents an opportunity to meet after Curriculum Night and learn about the Pledge Drive
- The field banner was filled in nearly every day to track our progress
- Four teachers braved a cold and rainy afternoon to be slimed!

Have an idea for next year, or want to get involved in next year's Pledge Drive?  Reach out to the WatersToday fundraising team to learn more!

Donate here.

Help Mrs. Vecchioni and Waters Elementary School get ready for one of our favorites, the Dia de Los Muertes celebration on November 1st. Help is needed papering the hallway and hanging student art for the celebration during school hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday October 28-30. An hour or two? Any help goes a long way!  Then again on November 14 and 15, help will be needed to take down the artwork. Again an hour or two of your help is welcome!

The Pledge Drive is Going Strong!

10/1/2019

Picture
We're only a week into the 2019 Pledge Drive, and thanks to some amazing donors, we've already raised over $40,000 for Waters!

That's incredible momentum, but we still have work to do to hit our goal—and you can help!

If you haven't yet donated, please do! The suggested family donation is $750, but every single dollar helps support our incredible school.
